As a ‘niche’ consulting firm, we are focused on a specific purpose – supporting our clients in their efforts to expand financial services to the poor. Our approach is to facilitate strategic thinking about emerging markets and products. We are committed to working in partnership with cutting edge development organizations which include policy makers, regulatory agencies, private foundations, banks and other providers of innovative financial services.

We specialize in projects that are conceptually challenging and which have the potential to significantly improve the level of financial inclusion within developing countries. This often means seeking to crumble barriers to entry for innovative suppliers, while ensuring that the market remains safe and inviting for populations which are often excluded.

At the same time, we strive to push the frontiers of knowledge by focusing on issues which offer the greatest potential for achieving near-term practical results for our clients, but also generate the most interesting and crucial questions for longer-term financial inclusion.
